Over the past few years I have been asked to talk about new technology on radio and TV.
From brief magazine-style appearances to longer feature-length programmes I have enjoyed chatting about items as diverse as electronics in space, the electric toothbrush and even electronic toilets,

One of my fondest memories was a film crew following me around during BBC Science week. They watched me brewing coffee in my flat whilst driving home in my car - all thanks to a remarkable gadget called Home Automation.
